We’re excited to introduce the second version of our Vaer Field line. Built off of our incredibly popular first line, we’ve gathered customer feedback and applied improvements to an already incredible watch. We’ve made a number of changes — a refined case design, improved lug and crown ergonomics, increased lume strength, along with a 5 Jewel Swiss Made Movement. The Vaer Field Watch represents a commitment to functional simplicity and the freedom that comes from living with less. In an era of increasing complexity, our goal was to build a watch that simply tells the time and works anywhere. This not only meant engineering the watch to be watertight and durable but also designing a visual aesthetic that is refined enough to fit any style.
To further enhance the flexible functionality, the watch includes one Made in USA Horween Leather strap, as well as one nylon slide-through-band of your choice.
The Horween Leather strap is made of some of the highest quality leather in the world and uses quick release springbars for easier swapping of straps.

Our company is strongly committed to supporting craftsmanship and local manufacturing in the United States. Every Vaer watch is hand-assembled and pressure tested in Los Angeles by our team of skilled technicians. The 18 individual components of the Classic Watch include a 316L stainless steel case, a scratchproof sapphire crystal, miniature gaskets and spacers, custom curved springbars and a durable Swiss quartz movement.
Guaranteed Waterproof
Water resistance ratings in watches work on an ATM (atmosphere) scale. Most watches use 3ATM (30 meter) as a base resistance. Because the rating is at static pressure, you could breach the seal of a 3ATM watch while washing your hands. Our goal was to build a watch you could dive with and this meant achieving a 10ATM (100 meter) rating. We achieved this by using an extra-thick sapphire crystal, a rotating caseback with a round rubber gasket, and a threaded screwdown crown that maintains a quality seal at the most vulnerable point of the watch.
Interchangeable Bands
To further enhance the functionality of the product, every Vaer Classic Watch comes standard with two interchangeable NATO-style bands. Our standard band is made from a dense nylon weave that is comfortable, waterproof, and strong enough to withstand 350 pounds of direct tension. The band features 13 laser cut holes, spaced 5mm apart and spanning a range between 155mm and 215mm. We also offer a waxed leather strap, handmade in downtown Los Angeles from premium American cowhide.
