United StatesDurable and attractive; what I want from all my gear.
My S3 came with the khaki quick release strap, which is great (I knew I liked the color) but the durability of single pass (NATO style) on a work and sport watch is a great safety feature in retaining the watch under tough conditions. Trimming trees, vehicle maintenance, and surfing have already been done and like my other VAER products, there have been no problems. Lots of sweat poured into the thing and it still looks and performs perfectly.

If you are on the fence about the D7 watch, go ahead and order one. The proportions of the watch are great and I enjoy the different strap options. I ordered the metal bracelet and single pass strap which are both great but the rubber band is by far my favorite. This watch looks so much better in person. I really appreciate the thoughtful design that went into this watch and love the vintage design aspects of the watch.

I absolutely love my Heritage Dark and the nylon bands. The watch is light but super classy. I've climbed 3 cascade volcanoes, hiked hundreds of miles on the PCT and have packed elk in the wilderness and the watch still looks brand new. Perfect size and fit. It's my new best friend for over a year.
United StatesNice Straps to compliment my D5 Automatic
I have the D5 Automatic. Love the watch. I had been using the black tropic band and or the brown leather. Was looking for an everyday wear band and purchased the single pass in red and blue, and also in olive. Both are comfortable and nice looking. I bought them to change the look from time to time. My watch was a great purchase, love my watch.

The strap material is very thin and it does not look robust or comfortable on the wrist.
