Frequenty Asked Questions
We appreciate you registering your interest in early bird access for our upcoming G2 release. We realize that you may still have questions related to the watch. We will be providing more details as we get closer to our official launch date.
What is a GMT watch?
A GMT watch is a type of watch that shows the time in two different time zones at once. It has an extra hand (called the GMT hand) that points to a 24-hour scale, which lets you keep track of time in another location, like for traveling or coordinating with people in different parts of the world. Itβs perfect for frequent travelers or anyone who needs to know the time in multiple places.
Is the G2 cross compatible with my existing Vaer bracelets?
If you already own a steel bracelet for one of our 39mm Vaer dive watches (D5, D7, G5) it will fit on the G2 watch.
Why does the G2 have a bi-directional Bezel?
The G2 has a bi-directional bezel to make it easier to track different time zones quickly. Unlike a diverβs watch, which has a unidirectional bezel to prevent accidentally increasing dive time, the G2βs bezel can turn in both directions. This flexibility allows you to adjust the bezel forward or backward to line up with a new time zone, making it convenient for frequent travelers who need to keep track of time differences.
Where in the USA are these watches being assembled?
These watches are being assembled right here in the USA. Specifically, these are assembled in Rhode Island and QC'd in Missouri and Los Angeles.
