What makes Vaer different?

We build watches for men who care enough to invest in tools and products that will to stand-up to their lifestyle. We see our customers as our peers, and for that reason, we've tried our very best to craft designs that are durable, timeless, and easy to repair. In addition to being passionate about our products, we are also firm believers in promoting American craftsmanship and protecting the great outdoors.

Build the perfect $150 watch

Our goal was to build a watch you never needed to take off. A watch you could wear with confidence anywhere you went that was simultaneously timeless, rugged and economical.

Let’s make it waterproof

There were a few key design elements that we knew we wanted to include in our watch: Easily interchangeable bands, 10ATM depth rating, sapphire crystal and a Swiss quartz movement.

Small batch assembly in LA

Every watch is hand-assembled and tested in Los Angeles by our team of Swiss trained technicians. Our leather bands are cut and sewn in Los Angeles from premium American cowhide.

"I think I'd have to pay 3 or 4 times as much for a watch of similar quality. I'm able to switch out bands really easily and have paired it with other leather and canvas straps. Overall it's the perfect daily watch for all occasions."

A small team of watch nerds

Vaer was founded by Ryan Torres and Reagan Cook in Los Angeles in 2015, based on a shared appreciation for product design, the outdoors and high-quality NATO straps. Like many small businesses, our growth has been dependent on the support of friends, family and our surrounding community, as well as customers from around the world that have chosen to support our brand.

For those who move forward

Our core guiding principle at Vaer is to make products that will last, and that will become more important and personally significant over time. While nothing is invincible, we try our best to make utilitarian and practical objects that can withstand the unpredictable trials of everyday life.

There's new knowledge to be gained

Our second principle is that great things are not built by those who waited and rested and wished to look behind them, but by those who move forward. We are proud to be an American brand, and to carry on this country's rich history of innovation and exploration.

Preservation for the next generation

Protecting and preserving our natural environment is the final founding principle of our brand. We love the great outdoors, and are fully committed to doing our part to take care of it. As a member of 1% for the Planet, we've committed to donating 1% of our sales to support environmental non-profits.
