The Seafaring Life

White Cap follows Corban Campbell’s life on and around the water—where boats, surf, work, and family blur into one continuous rhythm. Co-directed with George Trimm, the film traces Corban’s evolution from improvised setups to a custom-built boat of his own design, shaped by years of experience, risk, and repetition.

More than a surf film, White Cap captures the broader reality of ocean life: shifting conditions, mechanical problems, long days, and the unpredictable mix of effort and reward that comes with it. Featuring appearances from longtime collaborator Conner Rhoads, the story reflects a small, interconnected community built around the sea.

This is not a film about polished outcomes, but about the process itself—about building, adapting, and committing to a life that makes the most sense on the water.
